Field Trip to Mahabalipuram

An educational Field trip to Mahabalipuram was held for grades 6 to 9 and 11 on 28 and 30Aug 2023.

The day began with great anticipation as students gathered at the school in the morning. Excitement filled the air as students eagerly awaited the adventure that awaited them. Once all the students had arrived, they were divided into their class groups and boarded buses that were arranged for the trip. Each group had teachers accompanying them to ensure their safety and to provide guidance throughout the day. The buses departed from the school and transported the students and teachers to their respective picnic sites. As the buses rolled along the scenic routes, students enjoyed the beautiful views and the opportunity to bond with their classmates.

The educational field trip to Mahabalipuram, was an exceptional learning experience for our students. The students could witness the ancient architecture and historical monuments of Tamil Nadu’s rich culture and heritage. The students visited the Shore temple, Five Rathas, Tiger Caves and Krishna’s Butter Ball in Mahabalipuram.

It not only expanded their knowledge of history, culture, and architecture but also ignited their curiosity and passion for exploring our rich heritage. The teachers took a moment to explain the historical and ecological significance of the places. This added an educational dimension to the excursion, allowing students to connect with the surroundings on a deeper level. Students were encouraged to ask questions and engage in discussions about the importance of preserving these natural and cultural treasures. The memories of this special day would continue to inspire and educate, reminding everyone of the value of outdoor experiences and the importance of preserving our natural and cultural treasures.
