STUDENT VISIT TO THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF OCEAN TECHNOLOGY

Our Grade X and XII students had the enriching opportunity to visit the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT), on 27 March 2026 where they were warmly welcomed by Mr. Sudarsan, Project Scientist and PRO. His engaging presentation on the importance of oceans and ongoing research set the tone for a day of exploration and learning.

The program featured insightful sessions by experts in the Department: Mr. Aathithyan explained ocean technologies and research initiatives, while Mr. Nikhil highlighted practical applications in the field. Interactive discussions kept students engaged and encouraged them to ask thoughtful questions.

The day concluded with Mr. Chandu’s fascinating presentation on submersibles, showcasing advanced underwater exploration techniques. He also addressed student queries and recognized their enthusiasm for ocean science.

The visit proved to be highly informative and inspiring, giving students valuable exposure to ocean technology and research, and encouraging them to explore careers in scientific innovation.
