INNOWIZ 2.5 – A Celebration of Innovation and Talent

Chennai, July 26 – Hindustan International School, Padur, hosted the second edition of its flagship inter-school fest, INNOWIZ 2.5. The event brought together bright young minds from 12 reputed schools across the city, competing in 21 diverse events spanning science, technology, public speaking, performing arts, fine arts, and sports.

The event was graced by Lt Gen Michael A J Fernandez, AVSM, VSM, Commandant of the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, as the Chief Guest, accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Fernandez. In his inspiring address, Lt. Gen Fernandez emphasized the importance of discipline, creativity, leadership, a strong and clear vision in life, and above all, the value of a spoken reputation. He also commended the school’s efforts in fostering holistic development among students.

The fest witnessed enthusiastic participation in events such as NeuroDrone, TED-style Talks, Brand Battle, Ignite the Floor, Symphoria, band performances, visual arts, and The Final Cut – Short Film, along with exciting sports competitions in football and basketball. Budding innovators, speakers, artists, and athletes showcased their talents, making the day a vibrant celebration of youth potential.

A special highlight of the evening was a live performance by playback singer Praniti, who captivated the audience with her dynamic stage presence and soulful music, adding star power to the celebration.

The event concluded with a grand Valedictory Ceremony, prize distribution, and a group photo session, celebrating not just the winners, but the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and excellence from varied schools.
