Independence Day Celebrations 2025

Hindustan International School, Padur, celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 with great patriotic fervour. The Chief Guest, Mr. Shankar Meganathan, Assistant Commandant, Border Security Force (BSF), hoisted the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem and the pledge, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity.

Students showcased their talents through march past, patriotic songs, speeches, and dances, reflecting India’s rich cultural diversity. In his inspiring address, the Chief Guest urged students to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility, reminding them that “true independence lies not just in freedom from oppression, but in building a nation of character, unity, and progress.”

The celebrations concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets, leaving every heart brimming with patriotism.
