Inauguration of Rifle Club & Rock-Climbing Wall

Scaling New Heights, Strengthening New Skills-The Journey Begins here

On 06 February 2025, Hindustan International School, Padur proudly inaugurated its new Rifle Club and Rock-Climbing Wall, marking a significant milestone in promoting adventure sports and marksmanship training on campus.

The event was graced by Dr. Sylendra Babu, esteemed Chief Guest, and Dr. Anand Jacob Verghese, Chairman of Hindustan Group of Institutions. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome led by our NCC Boy Scouts and School Band. Following the Chairman’s felicitation of the Chief Guest, the dignitaries inaugurated the Rifle Club at the HISTAR Block and participated in a demonstration of its state-of-the-art facilities.

The audience, which included members from all three Hindustan International Schools and Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, witnessed the unveiling of the commemorative plaque. Vendors and contributors Mr. Shyamsundar Manoharan, Founder of Fitrock Arena, and Mr. Manivasagam, Head Coach of X Target Sports, were also felicitated.

A motivational talk by Dr. Sylendra Babu was the highlight of the event, inspiring students to embrace sportsmanship and resilience. The event culminated with a heartfelt vote of thanks by our student representative, followed by a group photograph capturing the spirit of unity and achievement among all three campuses and HITS.
