Christmas Celebrations 2019 Padur

Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of receiving. It is happiness because we see the joy in people. It is forgetting one self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing on true values.”

The Students and Staff of Hindustan International School, Padur celebrated Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm on 20  December 2019 Friday at the School premises. Not only a single day but the entire week was packed with fun-filled and educative activities related to the theme of Christmas. The entire School vibrated with the echoes of Christmas carols.

The Campus wore a festive look with bells, streamers and a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted Bells were organized for the Students. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the Students as they donated Clothes, Food Items and Stationery to the underprivileged Children of St Joseph High School. Dance and Skit show of children were the highlights of the day. Later, class-wise activities and parties were also organized. The tiny tots of the pre-primary section also participated in many activities related to Christmas like colouring and drawing a Christmas tree, Santa Claus, stars and Bells. They exhibited their creativity by decorating and displaying them in their classes. In the end, the dearest of all Santa Claus made a grand entry, dancing on the beat of jingle bells.

 The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them.

The celebration ended with ‘Silent Night Holy Night’.
