Healing Hands, Serving Hearts – Doctor’s Day 2026

Hindustan International School, Padur observed Doctors’ Day 2026 on 01 July 2026 under the inspiring theme “Celebrating the Hands that Heal, the Hearts that Serve.” The celebration honoured the dedication, service, and sacrifices of the medical fraternity while highlighting the remarkable progress of medicine that has transformed global health and life expectancy.

The special session at Golden Jubilee Hall featured Dr. Semmia Marshall (M.D.S), renowned Maxillofacial Surgeon, who delivered an insightful talk on Positive Body Image – A Need of the Hour. She shared her experiences in reconstructive surgery and emphasized how medical advancements restore health, confidence, and dignity to patients. The programme concluded with a warm felicitation and vote of thanks, leaving the audience inspired.

As part of the observance, Student Council members and senior Biology students visited the Government Hospital, Kelambakkam, where they expressed gratitude to healthcare professionals with handwritten notes and chocolates. Meanwhile, younger students from Grades 1–5 participated in interactive sessions on everyday healthy habits, learning the importance of hygiene, balanced diet, exercise, and sleep in maintaining well-being.

The day’s events beautifully combined learning, gratitude, and inspiration. Doctors’ Day 2026 not only honoured the medical fraternity but also encouraged students to embrace empathy, service, and the value of healthcare in society.
